About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site for 11 weeks between May and August. The role focuses on supporting the Market Development Agronomist (MDA) and sales team. It serves as a potential entry point into the two-year WinField United Associate Program.
What you'll do#
- Advance seed and crop protection products through research and analysis.
- Collaborate with the local team on specific projects.
- Provide agronomic insights to the MDA and sales team to support sales execution.
- Travel as required throughout the summer to support business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore or junior status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Systems Technology, Digital Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong communication, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and solve problems resourcefully.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business surroundings.
- Prior experience in sales or ag retail, along with familiarity with the ag retail system.
- Interest in technical agronomy, becoming a subject matter expert, or pursuing an advanced degree in the field.
