About the role#
Labcorp is seeking a GoldenGate Administration Intern to join our Oracle GoldenGate team. This internship is part of our 2027 Global Internship Program. You will work full-time for 12 weeks during the summer. This is a paid, on-site position based in Durham, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and maintain Oracle GoldenGate replication environments.
- Support the configuration, testing, and validation of GoldenGate Extract and Replicat processes.
- Troubleshoot issues related to replication, latency, and data synchronization.
- Participate in daily database administration and operational support tasks.
- Document procedures, configurations, and best practices.
- Support initiatives focused on automation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Work alongside database administrators, engineers, and project teams to complete assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
- 3-6 months of experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- 3-6 months of experience with database concepts and data flows.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
- Eagerness to learn enterprise database and data integration technologies.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct.
- A commitment to participating in training sessions and applying new skills.

- Location: Durham, North Carolina (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
