About the role#
The Commercial Sales Operations Intern joins the Atlantic Division Commercial Operations Team for an 11-week summer program. This role focuses on supporting business performance and operational excellence within the Diagnostics organization. You will gain exposure to sales strategy, territory alignment, and incentive modeling while contributing to data-driven projects that support commercial leadership.
What you'll do#
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support inside and external sales activities.
- Manage data cleanup and maintenance projects within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams to execute strategic sales initiatives.
- Streamline divisional sales processes and improve reporting accuracy.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to assist in leadership decision-making.
- Enhance CRM utilization and support various sales operations projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Power BI and AI applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Durham, North Carolina, with remote and hybrid work options available.
- The program runs full-time from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- This is a paid position.
