About the role#
The LA28 Olympian/Paralympian Athlete Fellowship Program is a year-long opportunity for retired athletes to gain professional experience while supporting the planning of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The program consists of two six-month rotations across various operational teams starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete two six-month rotations within different operational teams.
- Contribute to projects that support the delivery of the 2028 Games.
- Provide feedback on your experiences throughout the program to help shape future iterations.
- Expand your professional network while working in a full-time capacity.
What you'll need#
- You must have competed in the Olympic or Paralympic Games.
- You must be retired from elite international competition.
- You must hold a current US work permit or employment authorization. Please note that sponsorship is not provided.
- You must be able to work full time.
- You need strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- You must live in the Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate at your own expense.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at our office in Los Angeles, California.
- The program term begins in January 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
- You must be able to work in an open-office environment and maintain flexibility for occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work during peak periods.
