About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring an intern to join the finance team in Nashville. You will support the financial side of business acquisitions and program execution. This role involves working with both internal teams and external customers to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Manage financial functions for business acquisitions and program execution.
- Set up, validate, and generate complex customer invoices.
- Ensure invoices are completed on time and meet contract terms.
- Act as a daily point of contact for customers.
- Provide billing guidance to the Contracts and Program Finance teams.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and invoices to maintain accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Help with the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- The work is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
