About the role#
As a Finance Shared Services Intern, you will join the Global Business Services team at L3Harris Technologies. This role focuses on supporting operational objectives within the Accounts Payable department. You will assist with time sensitive invoice processing, provide customer base support, and help your manager with strategic deliverables. This is a full-time, paid position that operates on a remote basis.
What you'll do#
- Process invoices and manage exception handling.
- Research and resolve various Accounts Payable invoice issues.
- Support or lead procure to pay projects.
- Perform reconciliations and reviews.
- Collaborate with other functional groups as needed.
- Support process improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to interpret operational processes and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret financial data.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets consistently.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyze information effectively.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with a large ERP system, such as SAP, is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
