About the role#
The Finance & Operations AI Automation Intern supports the modernization of business processes through data analytics, automation, and AI. You will work with Finance, Operations, and Business Transformation teams to identify manual tasks and develop solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making. This role offers hands-on experience with digital transformation initiatives in a corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze existing finance and operational processes to find automation opportunities.
- Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Power Automate, and Excel.
- Create Power BI dashboards and reports to track business metrics.
- Streamline repetitive administrative and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes.
- Design and test automated solutions, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Support data collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis.
- Research emerging automation technologies and recommend practical business applications.
- Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and Operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or low-code and no-code automation platforms.
- Understanding of finance, operations, project management, or business process workflows.
- Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence concepts.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
