About the role#
Kroll is looking for an intern to join the Global Mergers & Acquisitions team in Los Angeles. This role provides direct exposure to transaction advisory and execution for middle-market companies. You will work on both healthy and distressed situations while supporting senior management teams and interacting with clients, board members, and stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial modeling and analytics for M&A and restructuring deal teams.
- Draft pitch materials, situation analyses, information memoranda, management presentations, and term sheets.
- Conduct research and due diligence on companies, industries, markets, and competitors.
- Contribute to the development and communication of client proposals and advice.
- Maintain data rooms, coordinate management meetings, and facilitate communication between deal teams and potential buyers or sellers.
- Ensure the quality of all client deliverables through attention to detail.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics degree program.
- Completion of at least four Junior or Senior level courses in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- A minimum major GPA of 3.2.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and personal integrity.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain or hold FINRA Series 79, 63, and 7 certifications.
