About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Lead Intern works with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will lead hands-on initiatives, develop standard work systems, and coach teams to identify and eliminate losses using Lean and Six Sigma methods.
What you'll do#
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Lead projects involving digitalization, reporting, 5S, and Six Sigma.
- Analyze workforce utilization, equipment layouts, and operational data to reduce waste.
- Investigate root causes of production stops and develop daily action plans.
- Facilitate line loss analysis and throughput improvement projects.
- Create One-Point Lessons and coordinate training for staff.
- Manage centerline and Quality Daily Management systems.
- Participate in internal audits, food safety committees, and sanitary design teams.
- Support operational meetings across all shifts.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs and QRMP operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma and technical training.
- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is desired.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Experience with CIL and Basic Problem Solving (6W-2H) or AM Step 2 qualification.
- Willingness to become Centerline Management System qualified within one month.
- Ability to work toward Green Belt qualification within one year.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliverables.

- Schedule: Flexibility to work off-shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime is required.
