About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you sit at the intersection of our customers and our product. You will work alongside the team to design, build, and deploy automations for real customers. This is a customer-facing role where you will be in the room with enterprise stakeholders. We value maturity, judgment, and the ability to build trust. We will train you on our platform, tooling, and deployment methods.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with customers to understand their processes, gather requirements, and troubleshoot issues.
- Build and deploy automations on the Kognitos platform.
- Translate business needs into working solutions.
- Partner with product and engineering to surface customer feedback and help improve the platform.
- Prototype quickly, test with real data, and iterate based on customer needs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Solid programming fundamentals.
- Comfort with Python, or the ability to pick it up quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to be in front of customers and learn on the job.
- Maturity, professionalism, and strong customer-facing skills.
- Sound judgment and a sense of ownership.
