About the role#
This is a 6-month paid co-op experience based in our Boston headquarters. You will join the People team to focus on the data side of human resources. This role provides a mix of tactical tasks and open-ended projects, allowing you to explore your interests in people data. You will be required to work on-site 5 days per week.
What you'll do#
- Partner with HR Business Partners to produce ad-hoc analyses using existing dashboards.
- Identify HR processes that can be improved or automated using data.
- Build SQL skills by working with our Analytics Engineering team to turn data into actionable answers for stakeholders.
- Bridge the gap between how data is entered in our HRIS system and how it appears in Snowflake.
- Document your learning process to benefit the wider team.
- Build skills in Claude to automate repetitive analytics tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Psychology, or a related field.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professional conduct.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas.
- Experience breaking down complex or messy questions into manageable parts to find solutions.
- Completion of a statistics, strategy, or data visualization course.
- Experience completing a data-oriented project from start to finish.
- Prior coursework or experience in HR.
