About the role#
As an Algorithm Engineering Intern, you will join the Semiconductor Products and Customers business unit at KLA. You will focus on advancing technical projects by working with traditional and deep learning algorithm techniques. This role involves applying optical, physical, and mathematical modeling to solve complex problems and improve KLA product performance.
What you'll do#
- Apply traditional and deep learning algorithms, including inverse problems and AI models.
- Experiment with new techniques to improve results or lower compute costs for modeling.
- Build signal and image processing tools to support more efficient experimentation.
- Manage measurement and imaging data for training AI and physics modeling systems.
- Develop software solutions to process and analyze measurement data and images.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or PhD-level degree program.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
