About the role#
This internship provides experience across the software development lifecycle. You will work alongside full-time Project Managers to plan and oversee development projects. The position involves both process improvement and hands-on management tasks.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with full-time Project Managers on software development projects.
- Create initial project plans and keep existing plans updated.
- Monitor the progress of projects currently in execution.
- Communicate with internal team members and leadership.
- Support Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year institution in a related program, such as Business Administration or Operations Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience leading or organizing events, clubs, or class projects.
- A major GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is preferred.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- Locations: Ames, Iowa or Clear Lake, Iowa.
- Terms: Rolling.
