About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a Landscape Architecture Intern for our Reston, Virginia office. This is a full-time, on-site position. We are looking for students currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture. The hourly pay range for this role is $29 to $30 per hour.
What you'll do#
You will work on land planning, urban design, and community facility projects. Your daily work involves site planning, landscape design, and technical production. You will assist project managers and work with different teams to complete client deliverables. You will also use software to analyze and quality check project documents. Expect to build your skills in programs like Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, GIS/Arcview, and AutoCAD.
What you'll need#
We require candidates to be currently enrolled in a Landscape Architecture degree program. You should have experience with technical software programs. We look for individuals who can learn federal, state, and local regulations. You will also need to understand client practices and internal company procedures.
