About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in both the field and the office. You will work on heavy civil, structural, and transportation projects within our Central District. You will learn the core functions of a surveying career by working directly with our project teams.
What you'll do#
- Follow project survey plans for field operations.
- Maintain accurate records, field procedures, and survey audits.
- Process field data using specialized software.
- Set and maintain control networks.
- Communicate regularly with the project surveying team.
- Take accurate and legible field notes while following safety procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in surveying or a related field like Civil Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time from May through August 2027.
- Willingness to travel and relocate as business requires.
- Ability to access all areas of a construction site in various climates and environments.
- Commitment to safety, ethics, and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Lone Tree, Colorado, though project locations vary across the Central and South-Central United States.
- This role requires you to be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
