    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time Mechanical Engineering Co-op position within the Utilities and Central Energy department for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in consulting engineering, participate in project meetings, and contribute to real-world infrastructure projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform engineering calculations and write reports.
    • Visit project sites to gather field information.
    • Develop and update Excel spreadsheets for project documentation.
    • Help develop and maintain project schedules while managing your own workload.
    • Participate in meetings by providing analysis, input, and recommendations.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
    • Completion of at least two years of college coursework.
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
    • Working knowledge of engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
    • Ability and willingness to travel to site locations as needed.

    • Locations: Lexington, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; St Paul, Minnesota.
