About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time internship is based in Santa Clara, California, and operates under a hybrid model. You will work with project teams to provide solutions for water resources, water quality, and treatment systems.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with water resource, quality, and treatment projects.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, design plans, and specifications.
- Perform field work and document pre-construction conditions.
- Manage ongoing projects while communicating with team members and clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Visit project sites.
- Engage in mentorship and professional networking with employees and clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
- Completion of at least junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Santa Clara, CA.
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum two days per week in the office).
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour.
- Benefits: $15 per month for cell phone costs, 401(k) plan participation, and accrued paid sick time.
