AI Engineer Student Advisor

About the role#

Kaleris is seeking a student assistant, apprentice, or intern to join the Agile IT team. This role works closely with Enterprise Applications, IT FinOps, BI, and AI team members to support internal business processes and system integrations.

What you'll do#

• Assist in developing and deploying AI-driven solutions to automate and optimize internal business processes, including IT operations, finance, and reporting.
• Build and maintain analytic dashboards and data pipelines to empower IT and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT leaders to enhance system integrations, data quality, and reporting capabilities through AI.
• Support the design, development, and testing of internal tools using AI and automation frameworks.
• Document workflows and create training materials for new solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AI-supported applications to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
• Stay current on emerging AI technologies and contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and system performance.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with exposure to programming, data, or AI.
• Programming proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning concepts and techniques.
• Experience or exposure to Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AI Studio, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Blob Storage.
• Understanding of data structures, APIs, and SQL (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an agile, test-driven development environment.
