About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Mechanical Engineering Co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, supporting our engineering team as they research, design, test, and validate technical solutions. This role is designed to be a learning experience that helps you grow your engineering skills while contributing to project goals.
What you'll do#
- Generate inventive ideas that meet functional requirements.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models for various parts and assemblies.
- Build prototypes and breadboards using 3D printers and model shop equipment.
- Perform experiments and testing to support product development.
- Develop project documentation, including CAD data, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
- Basic knowledge of geometric tolerance analysis.
- Proficiency in documentation, dimensioning, and specification writing.
- Prior experience in an engineering design or manufacturing environment is preferred.
