About the role#
Farnsworth Group is hiring a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. You will work alongside experienced engineers on various energy and utility projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in St. Louis, Missouri.
What you'll do#
- Create conceptual and final designs, including record drawings for utility lines and facilities.
- Conduct field visits to gather data and assess existing site conditions.
- Prepare construction documents and handle project administration tasks.
- Develop material specifications and perform cost estimates.
- Provide general project and office support.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
- Experience or exposure to MicroStation or AutoCAD is preferred.
