About the role#
This internship offers a chance to build real-world skills within a multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on exposure to project design and delivery. The role focuses on applying your classroom knowledge to actual projects while learning how different teams collaborate to complete them.
What you'll do#
- Assist with drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
- Support design tasks using software like Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Conduct research, gather data, and help prepare reports and cost estimates.
- Visit project sites to observe conditions and construction progress.
- Collaborate with team members to learn the project delivery process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to engineering or design software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team with curiosity and initiative.
- Effective time management, task prioritization, and professional organization.
- Students holding F-1, OPT, or H1-B visas are eligible for consideration.
