About the role#
As a Building Engineering Student Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on exposure to the design and delivery of real-world projects. This role allows you to apply classroom knowledge, build technical skills, and learn how multidisciplinary teams collaborate on building projects. This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
- Support design tasks using software such as Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Conduct research, gather data, and help prepare reports and cost estimates.
- Participate in site visits to observe conditions and construction progress.
- Collaborate with team members to learn the project delivery process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and exposure to engineering or design software.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team while showing curiosity and initiative.
- Effective time management, task prioritization, and professional organization.
- Students who hold F-1, OPT, or H1-B visas are eligible for consideration.
