About the role#
As an Industrial Student Intern for the Summer 2027 term, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects. This position provides hands-on exposure to the design and delivery of engineering solutions across industries like automotive, energy storage, and food and beverage. You will apply your classroom knowledge to technical tasks while learning how multidisciplinary teams collaborate.
What you'll do#
- Assist with calculations, project documentation, and drawings.
- Support design tasks using software such as Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports and cost estimates.
- Participate in site visits to observe construction progress and site conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to learn the project delivery process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and potential exposure to engineering or design software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team, show initiative, and maintain curiosity.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Eligibility for consideration if you hold F-1, OPT, or H1-B visas.
