About the role#
Sundt Construction is hiring a Building Group Intern to support engineering and construction management projects. This role is designed for students seeking hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will work directly on active projects, assisting with the daily operations and administrative tasks necessary to complete our builds.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project record keeping, shop drawings, and cost control records.
- Help prepare reports, conduct safety inspections, and manage submittal logging.
- Support surveying, testing, sample collection, and drawing filing.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors for proposals.
- Participate in bid openings, conferences, and site tours.
- Perform various tasks as a helper, clerk, or technician assistant.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, such as hardhats, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
- A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to handle diverse challenges on the job site.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
