About the role#
The Lloyd Meeds Policy Fellowship Program offers undergraduate students a semester-long opportunity to work within our Public Policy and Law Practice. This internship provides hands-on experience in the federal political process and allows you to participate in the firm's policy affairs.
What you'll do#
- Support Government Affairs Specialists and other policy professionals with daily tasks.
- Monitor press coverage and Capitol Hill publications to track relevant issues.
- Conduct research for various projects and draft policy materials.
- Compile briefing books for attorneys and clients.
- Attend Congressional hearings and manage document deliveries to Capitol Hill.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college student with an interest in federal legislation, policy, and politics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- You should be highly motivated and capable of working in an office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is necessary.
- Relevant majors include Political Science, International Relations, History, Communications, or Journalism.

- This is an on-site role based in Washington, DC.
- The internship takes place during the Fall 2026 semester.
- This is a full-time, paid position at $18.00 per hour.
- Please note that this position requires the successful completion of a background check.
