About the role#
This internship supports the Community Based Services division of Justice Resource Institute. You will work within the TAP program of Cape Cod, which provides therapeutic after-school care for children ages 6 to 12. These children have complex emotional and behavioral needs that prevent them from succeeding in standard community programs. You will work alongside staff to provide strength-based, individualized care in the environments where families live and learn.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in a mental health field such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
