About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Community Based Services division, specifically within the therapeutic after-school program on Cape Cod. Interns work with children ages 6-12 who have complex emotional and behavioral needs, helping them succeed in home, school, and community settings. This role involves working within a team-based approach that utilizes strength-based and evidence-based practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program or higher in a mental health field, such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- A strong clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass required background and driving record checks.
