About the role#
This internship is for students pursuing a Master's degree in the mental health field. You will work within the TAP program in Cape Cod, a therapeutic after-school setting for children ages 6-12. These children have complex emotional and behavioral needs. You will receive supervision from licensed staff to support your clinical growth and degree requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in a mental health field, such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
