About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Community Based Services division. You will work within the TAP program of Cape Cod, a therapeutic after-school setting for children ages 6-12 with complex emotional and behavioral needs. The role focuses on providing strength-based, individualized care to help children succeed in their home, school, and community environments. Interns receive supervision from licensed staff to support clinical growth and degree completion.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in a mental health field (such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
- A demonstrated clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
