Campus UI Software Engineer (Intern)

About the role#

This 10-week internship offers students the opportunity to contribute to real-time trading software within our core development team. Interns work directly on production code, gaining experience with the full development lifecycle from testing to release. This program serves as a primary pipeline for identifying talent for future full-time or return internship opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Build web-based applications that interact with components of our trading platform using Python, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Participate in the full-cycle development process, including testing and release, using Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with a global team of technologists to maintain and improve our trading infrastructure.
• Take on projects that directly contribute to our real-time trading software.

What you'll need#

• Hands-on experience in web development using Python and TypeScript, including Python development on Linux platforms.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and threading models.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A passion for solving complex problems and building optimal solutions from scratch.
• Interest in applying knowledge of hardware, networking, and OS design to high-performance software.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
• Comfort with React is considered helpful but is not required.
