About the role#
We are looking for research engineers to apply machine learning to complex domains. You will work on open-ended projects that move from initial concept to production. This role involves a mix of AI expertise, engineering, and statistics to improve our research infrastructure and model design.
What you'll do#
- Apply advanced techniques to challenging problems.
- Work with researchers and quants to build flexible frameworks for financial ML.
- Integrate ML models into production systems where latency is critical.
- Optimize training pipelines to use our HPC resources effectively.
- Build large-scale ML systems that are performant and observable.
- Improve productivity by reducing iteration cycle times for research.
What you'll need#
- A strong publication record at venues like ICML, ICLR, AAAI, NeurIPS, UAI, or KDD.
- A solid background in machine learning and modern deep learning techniques.
- Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Strong development skills in Python or C++.
- Intellectual curiosity and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
