Campus Data Engineer (Intern)

About the role#

This is a 10-week internship focused on developing and maintaining the infrastructure and pipelines that support firm-wide data. You will work alongside experienced data engineers, receiving ongoing mentorship and feedback throughout the summer. This program is the primary path for identifying candidates for full-time opportunities at the firm.

What you'll do#

• Develop and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Work directly on production code.
• Participate in the full-cycle process of development, testing, and release using Agile methodologies.
• Apply programming and analysis skills to build and maintain data solutions.

What you'll need#

• Hands-on experience with Python development on a Linux platform.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Passion for solving complex problems and building optimal solutions from scratch.
• Proficiency with Claude Code.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
• No prior finance or economics experience is required.
