About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will join our Furnish Your Future program to learn the selling process within a retail environment. You will work on the showroom floor alongside our sales consultants and management team. This role is based in Avon, Massachusetts, and requires travel to other retail locations across New England. Please note that this is an on-site position and will require some weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the June Sales Training Cohort.
- Shadow experienced commissioned sales consultants to understand how we manage the selling process.
- Use a consultative approach to help guests find furniture that fits their needs and budget.
- Complete a project summarizing your summer findings and your personal sales results.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising college senior enrolled in a business management, business administration, or marketing degree program.
- You have an interest in sales and customer service.
- You are a proactive, self-motivated person who wants to learn and take on new challenges.
- You have strong communication skills and can interact well with customers and team members.
- Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

- Pay: $23.00 per hour.
