About the role#
Jordan's Furniture is offering a 10-week paid internship for students interested in retail leadership. You will participate in the Furnish Your Future Intern Development Program, which provides hands-on experience in a retail environment. This role is based in Avon, Massachusetts, and requires on-site attendance. You will also travel to various retail store locations throughout New England.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside store managers and leadership teams to learn retail operations.
- Gain exposure to customer experience, team development, sales performance, staffing, and business execution.
- Complete tasks related to daily retail operations.
- Connect with organizational leaders through Intern Insights networking opportunities.
- Attend professional development workshops to build leadership skills.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business, Retail, or a related field.
- Interest in developing leadership and people management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to problem solve and think critically.
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, or leadership is a plus.

- Location: Avon, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting June 7, 2027.
- Pay: $23.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, including some weekend shifts.
