About the role#
Jordan's Furniture is seeking a Retail Management Intern to join our team for a 10-week summer program. This role offers exposure to the operational side of the furniture industry through our Furnish Your Future program. You will work directly with store managers and leadership teams to understand how we manage customer experience, sales performance, and business execution. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Reading, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in retail leadership and daily store operations.
- Participate in Intern Insights networking sessions to connect with leaders across the company.
- Attend professional development workshops to build management skills.
- Travel to various retail store locations throughout New England.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising college junior or senior.
- Enrollment in a degree program for Business, Retail, or a related field.
- Interest in developing leadership and people management capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to think critically.
- A proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a supervisory role is a plus.

- Location: Reading, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting June 7, 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time hours, including some weekend shifts.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
