About the role#
The Engineer Intern for Quality and Manufacturing supports our team in Eufaula, Alabama. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role that runs on a rolling basis. You will work alongside engineers to ensure our products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
What you'll do#
- Assist with new product testing and ongoing quality conformance.
- Support the development, execution, and documentation of test plans.
- Review and maintain quality records, procedures, and inspection documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action projects.
- Document findings and track actions for material review activities.
- Support supplier quality and vendor-related tasks, such as audit preparation.
- Compile data for quality performance reports and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help with production readiness.
What you'll need#
- A basic understanding of engineering and quality principles, including testing and problem-solving.
- Ability to analyze data, document results, and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn, take direction, and apply feedback.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing setting, which may include standing, walking, or light lifting.
