About the role#
The Sales Leadership Development Program offers a hands-on summer internship within our Vision and MedTech business. You will gain experience through field shadowing, commercial project work, and collaboration with teams that support our sales organization. This program is designed to provide exposure to the medical device commercial ecosystem and help you develop professional skills in a real-world setting.
What you'll do#
- Shadow field-based Territory Account Managers to observe customer interactions, selling strategies, and territory management.
- Participate in ride-alongs, customer engagements, and in-service observations.
- Learn how our sales teams partner with Optometrists and healthcare providers to deliver value.
- Lead a project that supports the Field Sales Organization by conducting competitive research and developing actionable insights.
- Deliver a final presentation summarizing your project outcomes and recommendations.
- Receive mentorship from program leaders and participate in professional learning experiences.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student entering your junior or senior year.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- An interest in sales, healthcare, or the medical device industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to shadow field-based sales roles.
- Prior internship or project experience in sales, business, marketing, or analytics is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Ability to remain actively enrolled in your academic program throughout the internship.

- Location: Jacksonville, Florida (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (40 hours per week).
- Majors: Business Administration or Marketing.
