About the role#
This Business Intelligence Co-Op position is based in Irving, Texas. You will join the Mentor Business Intelligence team to build your data and analytics skills. This is a full-time, paid role running from January through July 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build, maintain, and optimize BI reports and dashboards.
- Create a continuity strategy for the site business intelligence efforts.
- Write documentation and knowledge articles for the existing BI suite.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define metrics and key performance indicators.
- Use SQL to retrieve and manipulate data from databases.
- Monitor BI trends and emerging technologies to keep our practices current.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Data Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Technology Service Management, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- No conflicting employment commitments during the internship term.

- Term: Winter and Summer 2027 (January to July).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
