    About the role#

    The Outreach and Student Recruitment Coordinator for Special Partnerships is responsible for ensuring JobTrain’s career training programs meet enrollment targets. This role involves identifying potential students, managing recruitment initiatives, and building relationships with community partners throughout the Bay Area. The position requires a combination of field outreach, administrative documentation, and client support.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct ongoing outreach to recruit clients for assigned career training programs.
    • Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, attend stakeholder meetings, and identify new recruitment partners.
    • Represent JobTrain at community events, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.
    • Guide clients through the application, intake, and assessment processes, ensuring a smooth transition to Career Development Specialists.
    • Track recruitment initiatives and evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies and campaigns.
    • Maintain accurate client and outreach records in the Salesforce database and generate reports to monitor progress.
    • Assist with general administrative duties as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • At least three years of experience as an outreach coordinator or relevant professional experience.
    • Strong intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) and database technology.
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering presentations.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a detail-oriented approach.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and follow organizational processes.
    • Majors in Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Human Resources, or Sociology are relevant to this role.
    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to legal requirements for accommodations.

    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $31/hour.
    • Term: Rolling.
