About the role#
This internship provides an entry point into the Capital Markets group at JLL. You will work alongside analysts to support investment and acquisition projects. This role offers insight into commercial real estate through hands-on research, writing, and financial analysis. You will be part of a team-oriented environment based in Minneapolis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with market research by gathering and analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support property valuations using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Create marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by designing charts and graphics.
- Gather data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college or university junior graduating in Summer 2028.
- You have permanent US work authorization. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- You possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- You have an intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
- Candidates should be pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
Location & details#
- The internship is located on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The term runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position. Compensation ranges from 7,268 to 10,884 USD per year based on qualifications and market conditions.
