Senior Business Consultant - Technical Lead (Student)

About the role#

The Senior Business Consultant - Technical Lead (Student) provides technical leadership, process improvement, and consulting for Professional Services employees and Jenzabar One clients. This role focuses on the Student module area—including Admissions, Registration, Advising, and Student Life—while collaborating with project managers to execute assignments and resolve complex issues. You will be expected to maintain process documentation and provide coaching on data validation and reporting.

What you'll do#

• Perform deep-dive analyses to resolve Student-related issues.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to execute assigned projects and meet deliverables.
• Communicate project information clearly and accurately to team members.
• Maintain and share a repository of process and training documentation.
• Provide technical training and coaching on data flows through student and finance modules.
• Develop estimates based on customization specifications and recommend best practices to clients.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance decision-making while ensuring data privacy and accuracy.

What you'll need#

• BS, BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in Higher Education.
• Experience with Jenzabar’s J1 Student Information System/ERP.
• Advanced SQL programming skills.
• Strong software troubleshooting and database tool skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for functional end users.
• Prior training delivery experience is desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Location & details#

• Location: Remote (United States).
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Compensation: $65,000–$78,000 per year, plus annual bonus.
