About the role#
The Senior Business Consultant - Technical Lead provides technical leadership, training, and process improvement for Professional Services employees. You will serve as a consultant for Jenzabar One clients, resolving complex functional and technical issues within the Student module area. This role involves managing individual relationships and working closely with Project Managers and other Business Consultants to execute projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform deep-dive analyses to resolve Student-related issues, including registration, advising, and admissions data.
- Provide technical training and coaching on data validation, reporting, and data flow through student and finance modules.
- Maintain and share a repository of process and training documentation.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to execute assigned projects and meet deliverables.
- Communicate project information clearly and accurately to team members.
- Recommend best practices based on a sound understanding of customer requirements and business processes.
- Develop estimates based on customization specifications and evaluate business problems to select the best alternative for the client.
What you'll need#
- BS or BA degree, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years in higher education.
- Experience with Jenzabar J1 Student Information System or ERP, specifically in Admissions, Registrar, Advising, or Student Life.
- Advanced SQL programming skills.
- Strong software troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for functional users.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering presentations and conducting training in classroom, one-on-one, or online formats.
- Prior training delivery experience is desired.
