About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship for students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Architecture. Interns provide routine support for construction and administration functions, including project management, estimating, safety, and accounting. The role offers hands-on experience designed to complement college-level coursework.
What you'll do#
- Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantities, and equipment.
- Provide project progress updates and reports.
- Conduct job site observations alongside project leadership.
- Support project close-out activities, including punch lists, operation and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Support vendor and trade partner pricing, bid solicitation, and coordination.
- Participate in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
- Collaborate with project team members, trade partners, vendors, and clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelors degree program or higher.
- Relevant coursework in the area of the internship.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to be flexible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
