About the role#
As a Campus Intern at JE Dunn Construction, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting project management, estimating, safety, and accounting functions. You will work under direct supervision to assist with routine tasks that complement your classroom education.
What you'll do#
- Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantities, and equipment usage.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to the project team.
- Conduct job site observations alongside project leadership.
- Support project close-out activities, including punchlists, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Assist with vendor and trade partner pricing, bid solicitation, and coordination.
- Participate in the implementation of project-specific safety plans.
- Build relationships with project team members, clients, vendors, and trade partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelors degree program or higher.
- Relevant coursework related to the internship.
- Strong work ethic and high energy.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
