About the role#
As a Campus Intern at JE Dunn Construction, you will provide routine support for construction and administrative functions. This role offers hands-on experience in areas such as project management, estimating, safety, and accounting. You will work under direct supervision to support company objectives while gaining practical knowledge to complement your college education.
What you'll do#
- Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantities, and equipment.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports.
- Conduct job site observations alongside project leadership.
- Support project close-out tasks, including punchlists, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Assist with vendor and trade partner pricing, bid solicitation, and coordination.
- Participate in the project-specific safety plan and culture.
- Build professional relationships with project team members, trade partners, vendors, and clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelors Degree program or higher.
- Completed coursework related to the internship area.
- Strong work ethic and high energy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and flexibility.
