About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction and administration. You will work under direct supervision to support project management, estimating, safety, and accounting functions. This role is designed to complement your ongoing college education with practical, real-world tasks.
What you'll do#
- Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantities, and equipment with the project team.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports.
- Conduct job site observations alongside project leadership.
- Support project close-out tasks, including punchlists, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Assist with vendor and trade partner pricing, bid solicitation, and coordination.
- Participate in the project-specific safety plan and culture.
- Build relationships with team members, trade partners, vendors, and clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's degree program or higher.
- Coursework relevant to the internship opportunity, specifically in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or Accounting.
- Flexibility and high energy.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
