About the role#
This position offers an accelerated pathway for engineering students to build technical and leadership skills. You will contribute to projects that improve product performance, quality, safety, and efficiency at our San Antonio facility. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and product development.
- Analyze production and operational data to find improvement opportunities.
- Apply engineering principles to support process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Assist with the implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Present project findings and recommendations to engineering and business leaders.
- Participate in formal development opportunities to build leadership competencies.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, project teams, or extracurricular activities.
