About the role#
This position offers an accelerated pathway for future engineering leaders. You will contribute directly to manufacturing processes and product innovation at JCB North America. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in engineering projects focused on product performance, quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and product development.
- Analyze production and operational data to find improvement opportunities.
- Apply engineering principles to support process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Assist with the implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Present project findings and recommendations to business and engineering leaders.
- Build technical and leadership competencies through formal development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership through project teams, student organizations, or extracurricular activities.
