About the role#
This position acts as a public voice for our medical school admissions expertise. You will help prospective students navigate the application process by hosting live sessions and contributing to our podcast. This is a part-time, remote role that blends education with the promotion of our resources.
What you'll do#
- Teach and host free live admissions sessions for students.
- Introduce and promote Jack Westin resources and programs during your live sessions.
- Co-host the medical school admissions podcast by sharing your insights and expertise.
- Review blog posts related to admissions to ensure they are accurate and relevant before they go live.
- Keep up with AAMC updates, application cycle changes, and current trends in medical school admissions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an MD/PhD student is strongly preferred.
- Experience or comfort presenting live and on camera.
- Strong verbal communication skills for podcasting.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet space for recording.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The position is part-time, typically 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
