About the role#
J Street is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 semester to support development and leadership initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in non-profit operations, political advocacy, and community outreach while deepening knowledge of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The position is part-time, requiring 10 to 15 hours per week, and offers compensation of $19 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Assist with logistics and outreach for advocacy events.
- Research potential new donors and supporters.
- Update and manage internal databases.
- Communicate with supporters and new activists through phone calls and emails.
- Complete other tasks as needed to support the team.
What you'll need#
- A strong commitment to the pro-Israel, pro-peace, and diplomacy-first mission of J Street.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in the Google Suite.
- Experience with Salesforce and Excel is considered a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- This internship is remote, with optional in-person opportunities available in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The term is for the Fall 2026 semester, with the potential to extend into the spring semester based on mutual agreement.
