About the role#
We are hiring Chemical Engineering students to join our Pulp and Paper Division for the Winter 2027 work term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in either Saint John or Utopia, New Brunswick.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support and services to the Operations department.
- Work on process engineering services for improvement projects across the site.
- Monitor processes and analyze data to find ways to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
- Track effluent characteristics to ensure we meet legal requirements.
- Help troubleshoot process, environmental, and operational issues.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering and are in good academic standing.
- You have a safety-first mindset and work well in a team.
- You can manage your time effectively across multiple projects.
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- You have a long-term interest in pursuing an engineering career.
