About the role#
This internship provides exposure to transportation management principles within the supply chain department. You will work under supervision to support logistics services and gain experience with company operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Assist with DOT compliance and safety management.
- Perform account-specific duties as required by the customer.
- Develop an understanding of industry trends and initiatives related to driver retention.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
