About the role#
This internship offers a chance to work within the aerospace and industrial programs at ITT Inc. You will work alongside experienced engineers and industry experts to gain insight into product development, engineering processes, and problem-solving strategies. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Valencia, California.
What you'll do#
- Support project engineers with the planning and execution of aerospace and industrial programs.
- Track project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation such as meeting minutes, project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Gather and analyze project performance data to support status reporting.
- Coordinate logistics and prepare materials for internal and customer project reviews.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and operations teams.
- Assist with New Product Introduction activities and product development projects.
- Identify and track project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and follow-up activities.
- Support requirements management processes, including documentation and traceability.
- Conduct research and analysis to assist with business and project management objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and complete special assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in the aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or project management industries.
Location & details#
- Location: Valencia, California.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, May through August 2027.
- Compensation: $28 to $33 per hour.
